[Book Review] Clockwork Angel - Cassandra Clare

Hey all you people!

I swear this is the first book that I actually wanted to read for this whole year...and it's none other than one of Cassandra Clare's books! Her books are absolutely amazing, so expect more from me in the future!

Right, so I'm not going to spoil this book, just going to give a brief outline and some interesting points to it ^_^

It's a 20 chapter book, but it's about 472 pages? There's also a prologue, but that's really short. Before you start complaining about how long the book is, I just want to say that 'you can't judge a book by it's length'.
Although this is really long, the prologue sucks you in and traps you in a darker world that is antique yet mysterious. It's set in the Victorian Era, which I really like, and the description of it is very well done, same to the writing itself.

The person on the cover is Will Herondale.

It's kind of a love story, but yet, the scenes for it are very...little, in the first book. Honestly, all that description in that lovey-dovey scene made me cringe. But that may just be because I don't know how to handle those kind of "new descriptions" lol xD

Yes, there's a lot of description in this book. That's what makes it intriguing, and all the more amazing.
The plot - it's really...clever. But also kind of cliche. It's also very mysterious and keeps me wondering, and at the end, it punches you in the face and it's not who you thought it was! (You might not get that line now, but you will when you read it...)

I don't want to rant on too much about this! It's such an amazing book, you have got to read it! >u<
I hope I didn't sound too biased! :(

Rating: ❤❤❤❤ 5/5
Till next time~

PS. Will Herondale is one of the lead males in this with Jem. He's the love interest, and the main girl is called Tessa Gray. I was a little disappointed in how Will looked as I thought of him to be very handsome (as described in the book) but I guess everyone has different opinions....oh wells.
